This is a easy guide for new jbian to travel to Singapore from my experience. For a first time to go to other city without tourist guide is not easy but if we manage to handle all the problem, Insyaallah everything will be ok. Just enjoy this tips, I hope you can find it useful to you...yeah~~!!
1.Makes sure u hv international passport, you can apply from nearest Imigresen like in JB is at the Pekan Rabu. For 2 years passport is only rm100. So i think u can afford it.
2.Ask your friends if they used to visit the place you want to go an ask what kind of accomodation the place provided such as bus, mrt, lrt and so on.
3.To visit Singapore, it easy to use the mrt as the mrt are everywhere such as lrt and monorel in KL Make sure you buy ezlink card which is 12 dollar and it has credit 7 dollar inside it where you can use it to move from one place to another using mrt or bus. It also cheap.
4.Bring a map as sometimes it difficult to find a place although it juz near u.
5. Bring all the personal items such as umbrella, notebook,hp,etc as we are now not very close to our country n u need to go thru imigresen that you are not fun to do it in 2 times.
6.Bring enough money is important as it difficult to find atm in other country and they dont have cimb there as well as bank islam.
7.Ask people a lot like pepatah melayu said "malu bertanya sesat jalan". It will make ur life more easier than wandering around and then los..hohoho.
8.For Malay people who want to find the most community Malay in Sgpore is in Geylang which is near the Paya Lebar MRT. To go there from Bugis Street, you need to cross a road and find a Bugis Junction which is near a shopping mall and the mrt station is under ground. You need to take the mrt that headed to Pasir Ras if im not mistaken and you need to stop at Paya Lebar.
9.Dont miss to visit Woodlands as it have a shoppng complex that provided a lot shops that sells branded things like School, Giordano, etc and now is sale time!!!
10. What you need is dare to take a risk or else you still dunno what happen to outside of Malaysia..Hepi Holiday~
